It's only proper that I start out with a list:
1. Read through study abroad emails, make sure I didn't miss anything
2. Re-pack my stuff into new suitcase
3. Free up some space on my computer
4. Backup my hard drive
5. Download and print articles for courses
6. Finish boat and church research
7. Find a book to read on the plane
8. Buy school supplies
9. Make passport copies
10. Get some more monies
11. Procrastinate all day while Lauren is at work/in class
12. Do about half of what's on the list
Just some general info:
I fly out on Saturday, May 24th, arrive in Beijing on May 25th, and return (to New Orleans) on June 19th. I'll be taking 2 courses at Tsinghua University, taught by Penn professors. The courses are: US and Chinese Perspectives on Copyright, Piracy, & Creativity; and Media Events & the Beijing Olympics. Classes run Monday through Thursday, and then we play Friday through Sunday.
If you want to get in touch with me, you can do so through the innernets. I also now have Skype, but I haven't used it yet, so we'll see how that goes. My username is coneybee, though I'm not sure if you even need that to find me. Once I'm sure of my mailing address, I'll post it here as well.
Stories (hopefully) coming soon!
